Flamenco Guitar Solos vs Flamenco Guitar Accompaniment
Many students of guitar come to flamenco through listening to solo flamenco guitar artists. This is perfectly acceptable, except when these students do not understand the rhythm, and have no background in accompaniment, which is where all the great soloists got their rhythm from. Sabicas said you need 10 years dance accompaniment, 10 years cante accompaniment, and then you are ready for solo concert playing.
I can help you get that important base in your playing, and provide you with experience accompanying both me as a cantaor and other dancers and singers in Recitals.
I can also help you interpret solo styles more accurately, and authentically.
